We hope to participate in a number of events in 2010 and encourage anyone to help out with fundraising ideas. Look for us! If you are able to organize an activity in your area, we will be happy to assist you however we can. We appreciate all donations and remember, as a 501(c) (3) organization, your donations are tax deductible. Let’s get the word out!
The slumping economy has had a significant impact on rescue organizations this year. Owners have surrendered record numbers of animals in 2009. Here at GPRW, our kennels have been full, or nearly full, for quite some time. Many of the dogs being surrendered are coming from loving homes that simply cannot afford to keep them any longer.
